You are NOT going to believe this!

EE710533992AU AUSTRALIA SLOVENIA Your item arrived at the international processing centre in SLOVENIA - LJUBLJANA at 16:11 on 18 Jul 2008, and is awaiting clearance for delivery processing.

Yes, you read that right! My lift kit took a detour to Slovenia!!! :-)

It's just too darned funny not to share with everyone following the travels and mods of the Superu. That one is on its way back to Australia and a new shipment should be on its way to me in the states any day.

Here are a few pics of the little Subie taking a shortcut through the White Rocks National Recreation area over Mt. Tabor. The last pics are fossils at Chazy Reef on Isle la Motte. This formation, known worldwide among paleontologists, has been called the world’s oldest reef in which corals first appear. It was formed almost half a billion years ago in the ancient Iapetus Ocean, a shallow tropical sea covering most of what became the eastern North American continent, straddling the equator where Zimbabwe is today!

The ancient fossil reef on Isle La Motte, approximately 480-450 million years old and of the middle Ordovician Period, provides scientists with an extraordinary opportunity to study primitive reef formation, shedding light on the evolution of the later coral reefs which have had such an important role in Earth’s bio-history. For paleontologists, Isle La Motte is, among other things, a treasure trove of “firsts” featuring some of the world’s earliest corals and the oldest stromatoporoids.
