Winch and Lights Phase One Complete

The initial phase of driving/fog light setup and winch installation has been completed.

The Warn XD9000i multi-mount winch is attached by way of a 2" front receiver hitch that is mounted to the underside of the front bumper by a pair of 3/4" Grade 8 bolts. The follow up to this phase of the installation is to have additional supports welded to secure the FRH to the undercarriage of the car at secure points aft of the firewall.

The LightForce 240 XGTs and Stryker 170's are mounted on a steel lightbar attached to a PVC mount that is secured to the bumper at 3 locations using marine grade stainless steel hardware. The PVC is utilized to maintain a pedestrian friendly approach and is intended to break away from the mounts under sufficient force as would likely be incurred by a collision with pedestrians or cyclists.

As the winch is intended to be mounted only when needed, it's impact value is not a consideration.
